Independent Full-Circle Learning sites are asked to provide their own assessments, through neutral academic evaluations, anonymous parent surveys and whatever standards are applied in their own districts.

Full-Circle Learning offers a parent evaluation tool as an additional assessment. Both formal an informal assessments confirm the potential of the program to reinforce positive development in children and youth.

  • API scores improved each year for four years at the current model site, which earned an award in 2006 as a highly achieving Title I school. Students at the all-Title I school reflect 44 nationalities and many language groups.

  • Parent surveys at every site tested have indicated positive benefits in areas of both academic achievement and social development.

The most recent parent surveys were completed in 2006. Parents were asked to report anonymously on improvements in their children’s behaviors, attitudes and skills development over the school year. Parents responding to the survey indicated that the program had a positive effect on their children to the extent indicated by these statistics:

In 2006, preschool was introduced at Full-Circle Learning sites with a separate manual and learning materials. These students had global learning partners, just as the older students did, and were slowly introduced to conflict resolution as an element of their Full-Circle Learning program. Parents of 2-5 years olds were queried about the impact of the program on their children over the first three-months in the program, eliciting the following responses. Some students were barely two years old and had never been socialized before.
