Independent Full-Circle Learning sites are asked
to provide their own assessments, through neutral
academic evaluations, anonymous parent surveys
and whatever standards are applied in their own
districts.
Full-Circle Learning offers a parent evaluation tool
as an additional assessment. Both formal an informal
assessments confirm the potential of the program
to reinforce positive development in children and
youth.
- API scores improved each year for four years at the
current model site, which earned an award in 2006
as a highly achieving Title I school. Students at the
all-Title I school reflect 44 nationalities and many
language groups.
- Parent surveys at every site tested have indicated
positive benefits in areas of both academic achievement
and social development.
The most recent parent surveys were completed in
2006. Parents were asked to report anonymously
on improvements in their children’s behaviors, attitudes
and skills development over the school year.
Parents responding to the survey indicated that the
program had a positive effect on their children to
the extent indicated by these statistics:

In 2006, preschool was introduced at Full-Circle Learning sites with a separate manual and learning
materials. These students had global learning partners, just as the older students did, and were slowly
introduced to conflict resolution as an element of their Full-Circle Learning program. Parents of 2-5 years
olds were queried about the impact of the program on their children over the first three-months in the
program, eliciting the following responses. Some students were barely two years old and had never been
socialized before.
