China's Yu-hua Kindergarten Report 2016
Service to the human family knows no boundaries!
China’s Hangzhou Greentown Yu-hua Kindergarten, and their mentors at the university in Zhejiang Province, have shown a long-term commitment to Full-Circle Learning. The kindergarten’s 2016 report discusses its goal, to “help children establish relationships with the rest of the human family” and “participate in the sense of [that human family’s] survival.” The recent report explains that “the children understand what is moral conviction,” through “learning programs to stimulate and encourage their service behavior, for the construction of knowledge, skills, creativity and curiosity.”
By encouraging “the application of character curriculum content to social practice,” these educators are indeed raising the children to “serve a sustainable and stable society.” Congratulations to each Yu-hua teacher and child.
