Full-Circle Learning Students Share Ideas about Peace and the Environment
Oslo Norway received exhibits from Full-Circle Learning that delighted children around the world for an entire summer. Selected as a partner for the Peace and Environment exhibit, the various Full-Circle Learning sites created recycled mobiles and books of art answering the question, What do you find precious in your environment and what are you willing to do to protect it?
Artist John Paul Thornton helped the Full-Circle Learning Alumni Club, from Los Angeles, design orginal wood block prints of polar bears, suns and profiles of Wangari Maathai. They created patterns on a large polar bear they projected on recycled cardboard, to welcome people into the exhibit.
