Summer school at Rancho Sespe focused on Habits of Humanitarians this year. The Ambassadors reinforced bonds of love for seniors in the community, learned farisghtedness from agriculturalists and practiced earthquake preparedness in both California and Haiti with guests including Rainn Wilson and Jerico. Planning earthquake escape routes was just one of many humanitarian projects the Rancho Sespe students completed this summer. They also learned about farsightedness at the observatory and gave the docents watercolors as gifts.

Many of the Mexican-American children from Piru and Fillmore, California, who received their earliest training in a Full-Circle Learning preschool, are now entering middle school as leaders. Thanks to their district’s expansion of services, their preschool teacher will now lead all the preschool teachers in the district.
